Official snapshot
| Test date | Delivery | City or coverage | Regular cutoff |
|---|---|---|---|
| 22 November | Four skills | 21 prefectures by current table | 15 October or 21 October |
| 22 November | Reading and Listening only | 21 prefectures by current table | 15 October or 21 October |
Read the table as a dated map. It proves that the named organiser or centre published the record when checked. It does not prove that every seat remains available, that another city runs the same date, or that the receiving organisation will accept a late result.
The most important distinction is between three records:
| Record | What it proves | What it cannot prove |
|---|---|---|
| Organiser calendar | The examination can run on a date | A seat exists near you |
| Centre listing | A named centre opened local entry | Capacity remains tomorrow |
| Candidate confirmation | Your personal time and venue | Another candidate shares it |
A useful calendar article keeps these layers separate. Copying one global date into every country removes the exact information candidates need, namely city, deadline, delivery and oral scheduling.
What the deadline means
The exam has one test date but two payment deadlines and two skill patterns. A candidate can be on time for credit card entry after the convenience-store route has already closed.
Registration is not complete merely because an online form was started. Payment, identity evidence, accessibility requests and centre acceptance can each have a separate endpoint. A deadline shown in a table should therefore be treated as the last ordinary entry point, not as a recommended booking day.
Use this deadline audit:
- Match the exact examination and variant.
- Match the named city and centre.
- Check whether the date is digital, paper or another delivery.
- Read the payment and late-entry conditions.
- Preserve the confirmation outside the account.
Where the centre allows late entry, that route remains conditional on capacity and may cost more. It is not an extension for every candidate. Booking early also leaves time to correct a name or identity mismatch before candidate data is finalised.
Format and Speaking
TEAP reports scores for university admissions use. Candidates must verify the exact skill pattern and score rule required by each receiving university.
The oral component matters for logistics and for preparation. A candidate may need to attend on another day, arrive at another location, or speak with a partner assigned by the centre. Digital delivery does not mean unsupervised home testing, and it does not remove the live or recorded speaking rules published for the qualification.
Do not infer the personal Speaking appointment from a general calendar. Wait for the Confirmation of Entry or equivalent candidate notice. If travel is required, ask the centre whether the oral window is fixed before buying a non-refundable ticket.
General communication practice still transfers. Use daily speaking practice, adult conversation topics, pronunciation practice, job interview role plays, presentation practice, phone English, speaking and writing practice, a free speaking baseline, a 30 day fluency plan, ways to stop translating, conversation app comparisons, free speaking apps, how SpeakShark works, current pricing, and the speaking practice library. These resources build fluency and clarity; the organiser's official samples teach the examination itself.
Booking plan
Work backward from the date a university, employer or regulator must receive a verifiable result. The test date is only one point in the chain. Include result release, score delivery, document review and a correction buffer.
| Planning question | Safer answer |
|---|---|
| Which product? | The exact qualification named by the receiver |
| Which centre? | An authorised centre listed by the organiser |
| Which deadline? | The cutoff attached to that centre record |
| Which ID? | The document required in the booking instructions |
| Which result date? | The centre's published window plus buffer |
| Which oral date? | The personal candidate confirmation |
The price question belongs in the same check. The official fee is JPY 15,000 for all four skills and JPY 6,000 for Reading and Listening only. Confirm what is included, whether a late fee applies, and whether transfer or withdrawal produces a refund. Keep the receipt and confirmation because account access can fail at the worst time.
Result planning
A result window is not an admissions deadline. It says when the organiser expects to release a result, while the receiver controls how and when evidence must arrive. A result released one day before an application closes can still be too late if electronic verification or direct delivery takes longer.
Build a correction cycle into the plan. Identity errors, missing photographs, accessibility evidence and centre messages are manageable when found one week early and expensive when found on the final day. If the result is close to a hard threshold, also leave room for the receiver's verification and for any retake allowed by the calendar.
Never combine results, substitute a different exam version or average components unless the receiving body explicitly permits it. An organiser can issue a valid certificate that a particular receiver does not accept for a particular route.
A practical speaking plan
Once booked, divide practice between test knowledge and underlying communication. Official samples own task instructions. General daily speaking owns speed, clarity, response length and the ability to recover after a mistake.
Week one
Establish a baseline. Record two minutes on a familiar topic, one professional topic and one abstract question. Mark pauses, repeated fillers and words that become unclear. Choose three recurring weaknesses rather than attempting to fix everything.
Week two
Increase response pressure. Give yourself short planning time, answer without reading and repeat each response once. The second attempt should be shorter and clearer, not memorised. Practise asking for clarification and continuing after a correction.
Final week
Use the official sample timing and centre instructions. Keep general practice light and consistent. Check ID, route, arrival time, oral appointment and equipment rules. Do not replace sleep with last-minute vocabulary lists.
Use three free daily sessions for repeated conversation, then compare the current plan limits only if the free routine becomes consistent. SpeakShark is not required for the exam and does not reproduce protected questions.
Final verification before acting
Reopen every primary source. Save the exact test name, date, centre, cutoff and confirmation number. Ask the centre in writing when two official pages appear inconsistent rather than resolving the conflict by guesswork. Use the stricter published requirement until the responsible organisation clarifies it.
A good final check covers:
- exact candidate name and identity document;
- product and level;
- written and oral appointments;
- venue and travel time;
- payment and refund terms;
- accessibility arrangements;
- result release and delivery method;
- receiver acceptance and deadline.
This process looks administrative because it is. Preventing one wrong product or missed cutoff has more value than another hour of generic study advice.

How we researched this guide
On September 1, 2026, we opened the primary organiser and centre pages listed below. We compared exact dates, delivery labels, cities, regular deadlines, prices where published and result windows. We did not copy third-party calendars or infer a local session from a global paper date.
The article owns one country, one qualification and one month or registration cycle. Existing sibling posts own earlier months and general formats. This separation protects the answer from mixing stale dates with current inventory.

TEAP Session 3 takes place on November 22, 2026. Registration opens September 18 at 10:00. Convenience-store and Pay-easy applications close October 15, while credit-card entry closes October 21 at 16:00. This is a dated public-inventory snapshot checked on September 1, 2026. A centre can close entry after reaching capacity, so reopen the named official page and use the personal confirmation before arranging travel or relying on a result deadline.
The exam has one test date but two payment deadlines and two skill patterns. A candidate can be on time for credit card entry after the convenience-store route has already closed. The deadline belongs to the exact centre, session, payment method and delivery record. Do not move a cutoff from one city or product onto another booking, and do not assume a visible global date means local registration remains open.
The official fee is JPY 15,000 for all four skills and JPY 6,000 for Reading and Listening only. Check the final amount, tax, late-entry charge, transfer rule and refund conditions before paying. A preparation course fee is not automatically the examination fee, and a school that teaches the exam is not automatically the authorised booking centre.
TEAP reports scores for university admissions use. Candidates must verify the exact skill pattern and score rule required by each receiving university. Speaking can use a separate appointment or window. The personal confirmation controls the oral date, time and venue, so do not buy transport from the written date alone or assume another candidate has the same schedule.
Yes. Public calendars describe planned or currently open inventory, while the organiser and authorised centre control capacity, venue and candidate communication. Save the confirmation, check email and the candidate portal, and reopen the source shortly before travel. A static guide cannot replace that record.
Use official samples to learn the protected examination format, then practise producing clear English aloud every day. Rotate personal, academic and professional topics, record answers, correct recurring errors and repeat the same task. SpeakShark supports general conversation practice but does not issue this qualification or predict a formal score.
For general spoken English, start free daily practice. Premium costs $10 for one month, $25 for three months, or $69 for one year.
